Beautiful manicure with kamifubuki

A luxurious and festive manicure that attracts attention with its shine and elegance. It is a perfect option for an evening outing, a wedding, or New Year's celebrations. The design is based on a delicate, nude, or semi-transparent milky coating that evens out the nail plate and gives it a natural look. The main accent is a scattering of silver glitter and kamifubuki (multi-sized round sequins) applied in an ombre style (gradient). The sparkles are densely concentrated at the tips of the nails and gradually disperse closer to the cuticle, creating a “stardust” effect. A long ballerina or tapered square nail shape adds sophistication to the look and visually elongates the fingers.

What you will need

• A milky camouflage base or a transparent gel polish.
• Silver kamifubuki (a mix of small and medium-sized circles).
• A silver glitter gel polish for denser coverage on the tips.
• A gel brush or an orange wood stick for carefully placing the sparkles.
• A glossy top coat (preferably with a UV filter so the nude shade does not turn yellow).

Step-by-step instructions

1. Perform a hygienic manicure and shape the nails into the desired long form (ballerina or narrow square). Degrease the nail plate.
2. Apply a layer of milky base or nude gel polish and cure it in the lamp. If necessary, apply a second layer for more color density.
3. Apply a small amount of transparent base or top coat to the tip of the nail (do not cure it).
4. Carefully place the silver kamifubuki onto the wet layer, concentrating them more densely along the free edge. Using a brush, “stretch” some of the sparkles upward toward the middle of the nail to create a smooth gradient.
5. To enhance the shine, you can add a little silver glitter gel polish to the very tips. Cure in the lamp.
6. Cover the entire nail with a thick layer of glossy top coat to level the surface and hide the texture of the kamifubuki. Cure in the lamp. If necessary, apply a second layer of top coat.

Master’s tip: To create the perfect sparkling gradient, use a mix of kamifubuki in different sizes. This will add depth and dimension to the design. Do not forget to thoroughly seal all the sparkles under the top coat so they do not catch on clothing.
